Hawaii

Mike and I went to Hawaii last week and of course had a wonderful time! It was nice being away from everyday life and spend quality time together! We went for our 10 year anniversary (about 8 months early)! It was my first time going to Hawaii and it was beautiful!

We went to the Polynesian Cultural Center to watch the show and go to the Luau. It was pretty cool to see...but I do have to say now that I've seen it, I don't really care to see it again!


And of course we went to Pearl Harbor! It is so sad going there and knowing what these men and women went through....it was very touching! We went there 3 days after the 68th anniversary!

Our shuttle driver found out it was our anniversary and got us leis. On our shuttle drive over to the Polynesian Cultural Center, we stopped at the Dole Plantation. It was pretty cool seeing all the pineapple, and eating the pineapple ice cream...delicious!

I know I hate when I read other blogs and everyone is talking about how wonderful and great their lives our....so I apologize if this post makes you want to throw up! LOL...I do have to say though that I am grateful that I have such a wonderful hubby and LOVED going to Hawaii!

Thanksgiving 2009

This Thanksgiving was very relaxing. My mom, dad, Matt and Heidi and their kids came over. Mike experimented with his new Infrared Turkey fryer and it was delicious! My mom made a turkey, too, just in case ours got jacked up! I made homemade rolls which was another first. They turned out pretty good thanks to Katie's recipe! After everyone left it was time for a nice long nap! (Nothing like stuffing your face and sleeping afterwards! LOL) It was so relaxing, these are the only pictures I took. I was bummed after everyone left when I realized I neglected the camera! I have a lot to be thankful for this year! I have a wonderful husband, 2 beautiful kids, and an awesome family who helps me out whenever I need them! Even when things seem unfair, I'm very grateful for everything my Heavenly Father has given me!

Can anyone tell me why my Blog List does not update? Every once in awhile it will show a few select blog updates, but it doesn't constantly update when other people have posted on their blog...if you can help me out, please let me know:)

Vacation-San Diego

We spent all last week down in San Diego! We had a blast!
This is the condo on Mission Beach that we rented for the week. It was really nice and only steps away from the beach:)

Vacation- San Diego Zoo

My kids were excited to see the animals at the zoo...especially the ones from Madagascar:) Luke was extremely disappointed that the animals were not talking to him...LOL.

Of course we had to go to Coronado while we were in San Diego. I would LOVE to live in one of those cute houses in Coronado...maybe someday.

Neglected...

Mike and I are so busy lately with Kindergarten, preschool, soccer, work, business, you name it! At night, both of us usually end up in the office working for an hour or so on paperwork. Luke kept wanting me to go lay with him upstairs one night, since Madi was already asleep. I kept telling him to wait just a minute. Well, I got busy doing what I was doing, and when I looked behind my chair this is what I found...Isn't he the cutest?
I've been trying to be better lately about not pushing him and Madi to the side while I get things done...(though it's hard sometimes)! He is definitely a little momma's boy! I love this little guy, even when he climbs in my bed in the middle of the night, or insists that I carry him when we pick Madi up for school. I actually try to enjoy it lately...he's growing up way too fast!

Pumpkin Patch

Last week I took Madi and Luke to the pumpkin patch. We went with a large group so we only had to pay $5 per child. They got to go on each ride once, go in the petting zoo, and pick out their own little pumpkin.
