Friday morning we went down to California to visit my two older brothers and their families. We had a fun time hanging out and Madi and Luke loved playing with all their cousins! Friday night the older kids babysat for us so we could all have a fun night out w/out children:) On Saturday morning we went and ate lunch at Mike's favorite Bakersfield place...Papa O's Pizza. It's kind of a whole in the wall Pizza place, but they have good pizza. Saturday night, we went to the DODGER game and had a fun time! My kids were actually really well behaved:) Madi's favorite part was when "Take me out to the Ballgame" started playing! (My little singer!) Dodgers won! The highlight of the night was when a guy ran out on the field throwing off his clothes...He didn't make it very far:) We came home Sunday afternoon! It was a fun little vacation!

Look at that cute little stinker! I took this a couple months ago...I walked into the living room and found him fast asleep:) I had to post it since it is so sweet! We're getting ready to go down to a Dodger game this weekend, so I'll be back next week w/lots of picts.

Girls Night Out!

Okay, so I'm not looking too cute in this picture! I wanted to post it for my dear friends Holly and Carly! Carly (on the right) came into town last week and we were able to go to dinner at Macayos, and catch up on old times! I hadn't seen Carly since before I got married...Yikes, 8 years ago! We had a blast talking about High School, good times and bad! Holly (on the left) and I get to see each other more often, but we always have a good laugh everytime we are together! We had to have Carly take this picture of us, since I forgot to ask our waiter, Sergio! hehe. We had a fun time together and it's amazing how we can just kind of pick up where we left off!

NBA Summer League!

Today we went to the NBA Summer League! We just went to one game...Sacramento Kings vs. Toronto Raptors! Mike met a player for the Sacramento Kings, so we went to watch him play! His name is Quincy Douby! It's was pretty cool meeting an NBA player:) After the game Mike took me and the kids to meet him...I was bummed though because my camera was still at Mike's moms house so we didn't get a picture! There were a ton of NBA basketball players there that Mike recognized, but I had no idea who anyone was! (Though you could kind of pick them out cause they're extremely tall:) It was a fun experience!

4th of July Weekend!

We had a fun weekend! For 4th of July we went over to my brother Brad's house, and had a BBQ! We had great food, and the kids had a fun time playing together! Later on we walked over to City Hall and watched fireworks! We then came back to Brad and Mandy's house and did our own low budget fireworks... We were glad their neighbors had the good illegal ones! 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays! I love dressing the kids up in red, white, and blue! Madison was so excited for 4th of July this year, and I think Luke was wondering why we were all playing w/ fire:) Saturday afternoon we went over to Mike's parent's house and went swimming and had lots of great food! We also had a fun time playing RockBand on the Nintendo Wii! Unfortunately we don't have any pictures of that since I left my camera over their house...so I'll post those later! It was a fun eventful weekend, and fun spending it with family!
