Some"bunny" came to our house!

There was a ton of things going on this Easter. Madi and Luke had a fun time!

Luke, Arielle, Madison, Chloe, and Cadence at our wards Easter Egg Hunt. It was really fun! We have so many good friends in our ward.

My Sis-in-Law, Angela, came into town with my neices and nephews. All of the cousins had such a fun time playing together.

Saturday we went over to Mike's moms house and ate some yummy chicken and dumplings (Mike's favorite meal his mom makes), we dyed Easter Eggs, had an Easter Egg Hunt, and played Rockband. It was lots of fun!

Easter Sunday! Aren't they cute? I'm totally laughing... I'm just now realizing where Luke's hand is...can't ever take just one perfect picture! LOL.

The crazy month of March!

March pretty much sucked for us, I'm not going to lie! I know everyone usually blogs about the great things that happen, but I'm here to be Debbie Downer and tell you all how March wasn't all that chipper for us! However there were a few good things that happened! For my birthday Mike sent me my favorite flowers, tulips! They were beautiful and made my day (since that day I was stuck home with no car because Mike's totally crapped out on him the day before....see I told you, I'm Debbie Downer!) But, yes, I love getting flowers and loved having them on my table to help brighten my day!

And if that wasn't good enough he surprised me (and by that I mean seriously surprised me) by giving me my Cricut Expressions! I love this bad boy already! I mean seriously, I'm going to have more Vinyl around my house than any other LDS person out there! LOL. And the scrapbooking possibilities...I'm in love!

Seriously, as much as I can complain about how misbehaved my kids can be, they truly have been so good lately and helping their momma all the time! (I've only had to break up a few fights!)

So let's hope April is good to us! I love this time of year and the weather is soooo nice!

What we've been up to lately....

It seems like there is no time to rest these days! We have been crazy busy. Here a few things we've been doing...

Madi celebrated her 5th birthday and this is one of many gifts she received...a Taylor Swift barbie.

We had a little family party for her at my sisters house. The day before we had a little party for her at Mike's moms house. She got lots of cute clothes and toys for her birthday.

Madi also started soccer a few weeks ago and has her first game on Saturday. She is having lots of fun and on the same team as 3 other little girls in our ward. They are so cute to watch.

And we can't forget poor little Lukey! Poor child...Madi's in dance, soccer, preschool, and Luke gets to hang out with mama all day! Oh well, he likes it. He has been a little better in stores these days and loves having mommy and Luke time. I took him to the doctor today because he's had a nasty cough, and runny nose. He is on a strong antibiotic and hopefully will start sleeping better. Well, my house looks like a tornando blew threw it....guess I better get off the blog and clean!

My little girl turns "5"!

Yesterday was Madison's 5th Birthday. I can't believe she is already 5! Holy crap that flew by! It seems like yesterday that I had my baby shower, went to Applebees, and my water broke the minute my big butt stood up! (I still had about a month to go) We went to the hospital at 8pm that night and by 9 the next morning she decided the only way she was coming was via c-section! She was born at 9:56 am, weighing in at 6lbs. 15 oz., 19 inches long.

Newborn Madi!

This picture is her 6 month old picture...she was so fat! I have a picture of her in a swimsuit I'm going to post when I find it! It is hilarious!

1 year old...eating her birthday cake!

2 years old!

3 years old!

4 years old! I realized I take way too many pictures of her by the front door...I better start changing it up! LOL.

My beautiful baby girl today at 5 years old! There are so many things we love about Madi, but the top 5 are:
1. She is the sweetest girl ever and she gets along well with everyone.
2. She has the cutest little smile and dimples, and a cute little laugh.
3. She is a great big sister and teaches Luke the alphabet, colors, you name it.
4. She is a carbon copy of me and even has a lot of my same mannerisms...which sometimes isn't good!
5. She says the best prayers and thanks Jesus for just about everything...it's very cute!
Happy Birthday Madi Rose! I'll post family party pictures later!

Disneyland

Madi & Lukester with Mickey!

We had a fun time at Disneyland! Madi and Luke are both at a fun age! Their favorite rides were Peter Pan, Buzz Lightyear(very cute ride), and Teacups. We got to the hotel on Sunday night and unpacked and relaxed. On Monday we were planning on going to the beach but it was raining ALL day. So instead we went to Downtown Disney and watched Hotel for Dogs, ate and went shopping. Tuesday we went to Disneyland and it was bright and sunny and perfect weather (thank goodness)! We were at the park the whole day and had a great time. The highlight of my trip was seeing Seal and Heidi Klum! I was exiting the Dumbo ride and Seal was coming through the exit. I did a double take and realized it was him...and then saw tiny, skinny, beautiful Heidi Klum standing there with another one of their kids! I wanted to take pictures so bad, but I had Mike telling me not to! He was just ticked off that they were walking on rides while all of us had to wait! Then we saw them about 45 minutes later again and I had the perfect opportunity to get at picture, AND... I didn't! Mike isn't star crazy like I am! I was so excited to see them. Anyway, we had a wonderful, much needed vacation! Check out our slideshow below!

Little monster...

I can't even begin to describe this little stinker today:) I'm just grateful the day is done, and let's pray that tomorrow brings me much more patience and Luke a lot less energy:) Between spilling my diet coke at Target, throwing multiple tantrums, trying to rip my earrings out....I'm ready to pull my hair out:) And why does he always do this at my favorite shopping place, Target? NOT FAIR! With that being said...he can be a sweetheart and loves giving kisses...I hope we both get some much needed rest tonight! LOL.
